Debbie's Commission
A commission to re-new and re-upholster two chairs, which had lain in storage for many years and were in need of TLC.
Debbie selected a gorgeous blue and gold chenille fabric for the chairs and the gold paint to match a cushion and throw she had previously bought.
The fabric was "Moon and Stars" and is supplied as a throw by the Dream Blue Trading Co.
Debbie bought three of the throws and these were sufficient for the two chairs and to re-cover a footstool as well as cover a cushion. No material went to waste.
Stored in the attic for years
Stripped down to the padding; arms and legs also stripped, treated and given an under-coat.
New padding added, fabric fitted, stretched and fixed and the final coat of paint applied. Nana's chair is back home.

An old arm chair that belonged to the Debbie's Nana.
The chair had been stored in an attic for many years and was showing its age.
WING CHAIR
A wing chair of Debbie's that was in generally good condition, but looking bland and not fitting in with the decor in the house.
